Repair iPhone 6S Headset Jack Does Not Work

Restart your iPhone

- Click the AirPlay button in the upper right corner of the music control to display all available output sources.
- Tap the headset.
- Click the screen or click the iPhone home button to close the Control Center.
- After changing these settings, your iPhone audio will now be sent to the headset.

Clear the headphone hole

1. The lint, trash and other debris stuck in the headphone jack may prevent the iPhone from recognizing the inserted headphones. If the headphone jack does not work on the iPhone, use an antistatic brush to clean the headphone jack.

2. Dip the alcohol with a cotton swab, squeeze it clean, insert the cotton swab into the hole of the earphone and turn it out again and then pull it out several times. Be careful not to break the cotton swab with too much force.

Update to the latest iOS version available.

Apple typically addressed apparent device issues by rolling out software updates that contain bug fixes. You might as well give this a shot this time. How to Repair Cell Phone Low Voltage Alarm Fault

The low voltage alarm failure in the mobile phone repair refers that even if the normal battery is installed, the mobile phone still shows the low battery power or the power is not full. In order to repair the low voltage alarm failure, we must first understand the mechanism of the low voltage alarm. In fact, the mechanism of the low voltage alarm failure is very simple. It is realized by detecting the battery power. If it's iPhone, then it's the frist step to detect the iPhone battery.

After the voltage VBAT of the battery is divided into two resistors Rl and R2, the sample is sent to the digital analog conversion (A/D) circuit, the analog signal is converted to the digital signal and sent to the CPU, and then the CPU from the code is called the parameter of the battery power (the program is set well). The CPU can be determined by comparing the data set in the A/D and the predetermined data in the chip by comparing the A/D. The current supply voltage level, and then CPU according to the comparison results, sent to the display to display the battery's current power. 

If the battery power is smaller than the low power alarm parameters, CPU will display the power of the display to be empty, at the same time, send a low alarm signal, and then automatically turn off. In actual circuit, A/D converter is not set separately, it is usually integrated in cell phone power management IC,  CPU or audio processing lC.

According to the previous analysis, there are several reasons for low power alarm failures.

1. filter capacitor Cl leakage will lead to the reduction of voltage after the partial pressure, that is, the actual voltage after the sampling is reduced, so that the CPU is mistaken for the reduction of the battery voltage, thus causing a low alarm failure. As long as the Cl is dismantled.

2. higher voltage resistance Rl resistance increases, or lower voltage resistance R2 resistance decreases, the actual voltage after sampling is reduced, resulting in low alarm failure. At this time, as long as the proper adjustment of the Rl, R2 resistance can be.

3. since the battery voltage is sent to CPU by resistance partial pressure and A/D conversion, if the A/D converter is abnormal, it will cause low power alarm.

4. if the low alarm threshold voltage of the software is too high, a low voltage alarm fault will also occur. When overhauling, it is only necessary to rewrite the correct data.

5. if the battery supply load circuit such as power amplifier has large leakage current, it will lower the battery voltage, resulting in low power alarm.

6. if the contact piece of the battery is blackened, it will make the battery contact piece produce larger internal resistance, which is equivalent to increasing the upper voltage divider.

Therefore, after A/D conversion and CPU detection, it will cause low power alarm failure. When a low power alarm fault is maintained, a small file or sandpaper can be used.

Clean the contact thoroughly. Sometimes, bad battery will also appear to call or battery to use for a long time, that is, low power alarm failure.
